Do I pay the first month’s rent and last month’s rent with my security deposit?
We collect the first month’s rent with your security deposit. -
How old do you have to be to apply?
All occupants over 18 must apply. -
Is the deposit refundable?
Deposits are applied towards cleaning and repairs after the lease is over or tenants have vacated the premises. If there is a remainder of deposit left after the cleaning and repairs, the tenant may be eligible for a partial refund. -
You have a property I want to rent. How do I apply?
Applying is simple using our website! Visit our application link to complete your application and submit required documents. -
How do I pay rent?
To streamline rent collection, we offer a user-friendly payment system via our tenant portal. You can pay via the portal by using your bank account or credit card. If paying by credit card, there is a required 4% convenience fee which will automatically be added to your payment amount. Rent is due by the third of each month. On the fourth, a $25 late fee will be charged and an additional $5 each day after that. -
I want to get a pet. What should I do?
Contact Mayo Properties before bringing a pet of any kind onto the property. Certain dog breeds are not allowed. All pets must be approved and a pet deposit will be collected. -
For the commercial properties, if I am interested in leasing a space, but there currently is not one available, can I be placed on a waiting list?
Yes you can. Email mayoprops@gmail.com and include your type of business and desired move in date. We will keep your information on file and reach out once a vacancy is available. -
What are the procedures for renewing my lease or vacating my rental?
Whether you are renewing or planning to leave at the end of your lease, a 30 day notice is mandatory. -
How do I report needed repairs & maintenance requests?
Reporting maintenance issues is simple and efficient through our Residential Portal. -
Am I required to pay for repairs and maintenance requests?
The resident is not responsible for repairs related to normal wear and tear. However, any damage beyond normal wear and tear, such as holes in the walls or a broken window, is the resident’s responsibility. Depending on the nature and extent of the damage, Mayo Properties will coordinate with an approved vendor to make the necessary repairs at the expense of the resident.
